Air Raid Protection In Factories (c.WWII) By Cement and Concrete Association
 
During World War II, the Cement and Concrete Association (C&CA) played a role in promoting the use of concrete for air raid protection in factories and other structures. This included advising on the construction of shelters, both public and private, as well as the strengthening of existing buildings. The C&CA also published guidance on how to effectively utilize concrete for air raid protection, focusing on its durability and ability to withstand blast and debris.
