Barbed Wire and Footlights (1988) By Frank Taylor
The author was an RAF air crew member serving in 608 and 217 Squadrons. He was captured in 1942 and after incarceration and attempted escapes from 7 camps he was eventually liberated in May 1945. After the war he appeared in several productions in London's West End before touring South Africa in Seagulls Over Sorrento and settling in Sydney Australia.
