Sergeant Jack Preston was itching to get into the action. As a member of the Royal Corps of signals he had wanted to be deep in combat, radioing intel right from the front line. Stuck behind a radio in the battalion headquarters on Crete was not his ideal way to spend the war, but it wouldn't be too long before Jack would get his chance to fight!
