Senate Progress and Final Report and Minutes of Intoxicating Liquor Effect on Australian Soldiers And Best Method Of Dealing With Sale etc. (1917-18) By Australian Parliament

 

The committee inquired into options for reducing excessive alcohol consumption by Australian soldiers including restricting opening hours of hotels, closing bars and hotels in areas of troop movements, prohibiting the selling of alcohol to troops receiving hospital treatment, 'anti-shouting' regulations and the prohibition of liquor.
