Reports on Parliamentary Joint Committee On Foreign Affairs and Defence (1980-81)
 
A series of 6x Australian Parliamentary Reports looking at the defence capacity and vulnerabilities of Australia. 

The report has considered threats to Australia under four headings: Firstly, the potential for global conflict and its implications for Australia; secondly, the invasion of Australia; thirdly, intermediate level threats to Australian interests; and fourthly, low-level contingencies. With regard to each category of threat, the report discusses the level of capability needed to pose the type of threat, which nation might have the capability, which nation might have the motive, the likely warning time involved and possible deterrents. The report devotes substantial space to the issue of global conflict because of the importance of this subject.
