The book details the experiences in the care of wounds & injuries in World War II by Neurosurgeons

 

Volume I deals with surgery of the cranium, and the 2nd volume will deal with the spinal cord and peripheral nerves. The book is written by 14 physicians who were called to serve their country in the Army. They rapidly assumed the tremendous job of seeing that the unexpectedly large number of neurosurgical casualties received modern neurosurgical treatment.
